Members of the Coalition of Bonded Unposted Allied Health Professionals have indicated that they will picket the Ministry of Health again to ensure that their needs are met.

The group last week picketed the same venue over the government’s failure to post them after completing school and their national service. However, the Deputy Minister of Health Tina Mensah assured them that the government would act on their demands and post them to their stations to work.

The group, however, had noted that government is not acting on the assurance that was given therefore they would picket to ensure that their needs are met.

Speaking in an interview with Chief Jerry Forson, host of Ghana Yensom on Accra 100.5FM on Thursday May 18, Callings Agyeman, Vice President of the Coalition said: “This time round we will picket until they post us, we are not going to leave there upon any assurance again.

“We are not going to embark on any disturbances, all we are seeking is to get the government to post us to our stations to start work.”

He added : “We have realised that the government had gone on its own promise made to us during our picketing the last time. The Deputy Minister of Health Tina Mensah assured us the last time that the government ill post us but we are not seeing anything to that effect.”
