Former Vice-Chancellor for the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Professor Joshua Alabi, has urged the youth to ensure that the right leaders occupy the rights positions to bring the expected economic development and advancement of country.

Prof Alabi, who is aspiring to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as its flagbearer into the 2020 presidential elections, paid a courtesy call on the President of the Ga Dangme Concerned Youth Association (GDCYA), Nii Ayaafio Tetteh I, on Wednesday, October 11 where he emphasised the need to have the right people to steer the affairs of the country for effective results.

On his part, Nii Ayaafio Tetteh I, who is also the Gbeseamontsewe Oblantai Mantse of Ga Mashie, asked for blessings for Prof Alabi and assured him of the support of Ga Dangme Youth.

Describing him as an indigene who has Da Dangme issues at heart and intellectual ideas to contribute to the development of the country, Nii Ayaafio Tetteh I prayed for success in all the endeavours of the economist.
