The University of Ghana (UG) School of Law will host the 27th African Human Rights Moot Court Competition following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Human Rights of the University of Pretoria, South Africa.

Speaking to Class News’ Jerry Akornor after the Launch of the 27th African Human Rights Moot Court Competition and MOU signing ceremony in Accra on Tuesday, 14 November, Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu expressed confidence that law students will be exposed to the realities of court proceedings.

Meanwhile, Dean of the School of Law, Professor Kofi Quashigah has appealed to law students to prioritise human rights in their future practice.
