The Municipal Chief Executive of the West Akim Municipality, Seth Oduro Boadu has donated 150 bags of cement to the Asamankese Senior High School to help complete a seven-unit classroom block.

The school, established in 1954, is faced with some infrastructural challenges following an increase in enrolment which has resulted in limited space in classrooms and dormitories.

Presenting the items, Mr Boadu promised to rebuild a girls’ toilet facility which had caved in. He advised the students to take advantage of the Free SHS policy regardless of its challenges.

For his part, Rev. Samuel H Munyuhitum, headmaster of the school expressed his appreciation and appealed to other philanthropists for more assistance.
