The Chief Executive Officer of Aduana Stars, Albert Yahaya Commey, has stated that his team is counting on home support as they battle Raja Casablanca in their second game of the CAF Confederations Cup group stage game.

The Dormaa-based club lost their group opener to ASEC Mimosa when they faced off in Abidjan in the first leg of the encounter.

ASEC narrowly won that match by a lone goal to nil, courtesy a header from former Kumasi Asante Kotoko player, Ahmed Toure.

Ahead of the game against Raja Casablanca on Wednesday, 16 May at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park, the CEO of the club told Class Sports that his players are ready to beat their opponents even though he foresees the game being a tough one.

He also added that just as they opened up when they played away in their group opener, they will be attacking more to get some goals to ensure they get a win at the end of the 90 minutes.

Aduana’s home form is undoubtedly very good, having won three out of the four premier league matches they have played this season and drawing one. In addition, they have a 100 per cent home win record in continental competition in the ongoing campaign.

Albert Commey also emphasised that they are not going to be taking any chances when it comes to playing at their home grounds.
