The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has rescheduled its national annual delegates conference slated for 15 – 17 June 2018 to 6 – 8 July 2018.
The move, according to the party, has become necessary to avoid the event clashing with the Eid-Ul-Fitr celebrations of Muslims.
This decision was arrived at by the party's National Steering Committee at its meeting held on Tuesday, 15 May 2018.
Apart from the date, which has been rescheduled, every other arrangement pertaining to the organisation of the conference, including the venue and electoral arrangement, remain unchanged.
The conference will be held in Koforidua, Eastern Region, to elect new national executives.
