Ms Cynthia Lamptey, President Nana Akufo-Addo’s nominee for Deputy Special Prosecutor, will face the Appointments Committee of Parliament to be vetted today, Wednesday, 16 May 2018.

The event will take place at 10:00am at parliament’s Committee Rooms.

If approved, Ms Lamptey will assist Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu to deal with corruption-related cases.

She is a former Director of Public Prosecutions and also a lawyer of 30 years’ standing at the bar.
