Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu has praised Latif Blessing for his exploits for Liberty Professionals in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League season.

The Liberty Professionals midfielder hit the back of the net 17 times, including a hat-trick on the final day of the season against FA Cup winner Bechem United.

“Latif Blessing has really played well and scored wonderful goals. I think he has done so well. From nowhere and coming to Liberty and playing that wonderful role in their setup, I think we have to commend him. [Augustine] Okrah of Wa All Stars has also done very well. A whole lot of players. I don’t want to zone in on one particular player. We have talented players all over the place but only one can win. I think Latif Blessing has some qualities,” he stated.

Meanwhile, assistant coach of Liberty Professionals Felix Aboagye said Latif Blessing would be missed, with a number of foreign and local clubs chasing after his signature.

“He is such a huge talent and he has been a huge influence in our team and without him, we were struggling to win games in the Ghana Premier League. We are just praying for him to get a contract outside to further his career and make money for himself and his family. He is such a great talent; we will miss him, but we can only wish him the best in his career,” the former Al Ahly and Zamalek forward noted.
