Jah Lead promises dance vibes with new EP ‘Guilt of Music’
Ghanaian artist Jah Lead is set to drop his highly anticipated EP titled Guilt of Music, designed to bring fans a fresh, danceable sound.
In a recent interview with Dr. Kay on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo show, Jah Lead opened up about the project and his creative process.
When asked whether the EP was inspired by his feeling “guilty of music” or meant to calm fans while he prepares future releases, Jah Lead explained that he has been busy in the studio, putting together an album that is currently in the mastering stage.
On collaborations, he revealed there is only one feature on the album—a female artist whose name will remain secret until the album drops.
He also mentioned an upcoming single with J.Derobie, which will be released ahead of the full album.
Describing the EP, Jah Lead said, “This is a party EP, a dance project.
People have always thought I stick to one kind of music, but I want them to just dance.”
The five-track EP was recorded in just two days, even though he spent months preparing it.
“Usually, it takes under two hours to record a song because of checks and all, but this EP came together quickly,” he added.
Fans can expect an energetic collection that highlights a different side of Jah Lead and guarantees to get listeners moving.
