Daniel Yaw Domelevo appointed board chairman of EOCO
Former Auditor-General, Mr. Daniel Yaw Domelevo, has been appointed as the new Board Chairman of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).
Mr. Domelevo, widely respected for his strong stance on accountability and anti-corruption during his tenure as Auditor-General, is expected to bring his expertise and integrity to bear in strengthening EOCO’s mandate of investigating and prosecuting economic and organised crimes.
His appointment has been welcomed by governance and anti-corruption advocates, who believe his leadership will enhance public confidence in the institution and reinforce Ghana’s fight against graft and financial crimes.
In a remark, he expressed concerns about the amount of money lost to corruption in the country
