Infinity970, in partnership with Breathe Cities and the Clean Air Fund, has intensified its campaign against air pollution in the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (GAMA), this time turning its focus to schoolchildren.

Earlier this week, the organisation brought the campaign to Accra New Town Experimental School in the Ayawaso Central Municipality, where more than 160 pupils participated in an engaging educational session.

The programme aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of air pollution and its effects on both human health and the environment.

Interacting with the students, the General Manager, Infinity970, Emmanuel Lamptey, said the causes of air pollution, its harmful impacts, and ways to reduce exposure.

Using campaign communication materials, facilitators guided students through practical discussions that made the subject relatable to their daily lives.

An Environmental Health officer, Madam Obiri Boahen Givens urged the learners to see air quality as a shared responsibility, encouraging them to adopt positive practices that help protect the environment.
