Zini Paramount Chief pays courtesy call on NPA CEO

The Paramount Chief of the Zini Traditional Area and Vice President of the Upper West Regional House of Chiefs, Kuoro Abu Diaka Sukabe Nania V, has paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Mr Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, at the Authority’s headquarters in Accra.
The visit, which formed part of the Chief’s engagement with key national institutions, was aimed at strengthening relations between the Zini Traditional Area and the NPA.
It also provided an opportunity to explore areas of collaboration that could promote development and enhance community participation in national energy initiatives.
Kuoro Abu Diaka Sukabe Nania V was accompanied by the Member of Parliament for Sissala West and Deputy Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Mohammed Adams Sukparu.
The delegation commended the NPA for its continued efforts to ensure efficiency, transparency, and stability in Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector.
Mr Tameklo expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed the NPA’s commitment to working closely with traditional authorities to support development in local communities.
He noted that traditional leaders play a vital role in promoting responsible energy use and ensuring community support for national infrastructure and policy initiatives.
