GA/R: Building collapses at Roman Ridge, people feared trapped
A building has reportedly collapsed at the premises of the Architectural Engineering Group located at Roman Ridge in Accra, leaving several people trapped under the rubble.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) confirmed the incident in a social media post, stating that a rescue team from its headquarters has been deployed to the scene to save the victims.
“Rescue Team from GNFS Headquarters are putting up their best to rescue the victims,” the Service said.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of the collapse remains unclear, and emergency teams are still working tirelessly to reach those trapped inside.
Authorities have assured the public that more details will be provided as the rescue operation progresses.
