Bawumia jets to Italy for bilateral discussions with Pope

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has embarked on an official visit to the Republic of Italy and the Vatican State, as announced by a statement from his spokesperson, Dr Gideon Boako.
During his visit, the Vice President is scheduled to engage in bilateral discussions with His Holiness Pope Francis.
Dr Boako highlighted the significance of the meeting, noting the Pope's commitment to spreading messages of love, mercy, and inclusivity, which have resonated globally.
The discussions are expected to underscore shared principles of peace, justice, and solidarity, aiming to pave the way for a brighter future.
