Ofosu Ampofo pays courtesy call on Dr Yao Obed Asamoah on his 90th birthday
Former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, has paid a courtesy call on Dr Yao Obed Asamoah, a former National Chairman and respected member of the party’s Council of Elders, to mark his 90th birthday.
The visit was undertaken on behalf of the Vice President of Ghana, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
During the interaction, Mr Ofosu Ampofo conveyed the Vice President’s warm birthday wishes to Dr Asamoah and expressed gratitude for his decades of dedicated and selfless service to Ghana and the NDC.
He commended Dr Asamoah for his immense contributions to the growth and stability of the party, as well as his enduring role in national development and political leadership.
Dr Asamoah, who has served the NDC in various capacities over the years, was celebrated for his wisdom, commitment, and continued guidance to younger generations within the party.
The visit formed part of activities to honour the veteran politician as he marks a significant milestone in his life.
