Justin Bieber to join Madonna, Shakira and BTS at 2026 FIFA World Cup final halftime show
Justin Bieber has been confirmed as a co-headliner for the first-ever halftime show at a FIFA World Cup final.
FIFA announced that the Canadian pop star will join Madonna, Shakira and South Korean group BTS for the 11-minute performance during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final on July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium.
The halftime show, produced in partnership with Global Citizen and curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, will mark the first musical performance of its kind at a FIFA World Cup final.
FIFA also confirmed that Nigerian singer Burna Boy, Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus featuring Coldplay will perform during the show.
According to FIFA, the event will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children around the world. The initiative has already raised more than US$50 million, including US$1 from every ticket sold for FIFA World Cup 2026 matches.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup final is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 19, at New York New Jersey Stadium.
