Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has released a video of an official of the Ministry of Sports who rejected bribe after persistent attempts to entice her during the undercover project in putting together his latest Number 12 documentary about corruption in Ghana football.

Anas is known for praising individuals he finds clean in his projects.

Describing her as “The Patriot”, Diana Boateng, a Protocol Officer at the Ministry of Sports “refused a bribe to help secure visas for unauthorised persons”.

She was seen in the video handing back a bundle of cash which was deposited on her table during a negotiation.

According to Tiger Eye PI, Ms Boateng “insisted on following the right procedure”.

In addition to her, two other men also stood up against being bribed in the exposé.

They are Executive Committee Members of the GFA, Kweku Eyiah and John Frederick (JF) Mensah.

The exposé captures 77 Ghanaian referees and 14 GFA officials.

The documentary, executed in collaboration with the BBC also captures corruption in football across some 17 other African countries.
