The Dwantoahene of the Lower Dixcove Traditional Area in the Western Region, Nana Akomah Blay III, has commended Gold Coast Holding for supporting Ragja Construction with funds to put up the Dixcove Sea Defence wall.

Receiving a delegation from Gold Coast Holdings led by President & Chairman of Groupe Nduom, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, Nana Akomah Blay III, heaped praises on Gold Coast as he noted that the project is already yielding results for his community. He disclosed that two other companies who came to the site abandoned the job due to lack of funding.

“Oftentimes when the government awards contracts, it’s the duty of the contractor to look for funding for the project, so, it’s refreshing to see that Gold Coast Holding has provided funding for Rajga Construction Ltd. after two other contractors abandoned the project for lack of funding.

“More homes along the coastline have already been consumed by the sea, so, to see the extent of work Rajga has been able to accomplish with your funding means a lot to us”, he said.

In a remark to the chief, Dr Nduom disclosed that the Dixcove sea defence project is one of the over six hundred projects dotted across the country which Gold Coast is funding and assured clients of the firm that their investments have been invested in projects that yield the right dividends.

He assured that no client of his investment firm will lose a penny since that has not happened in the past 25 years.

“Gold Coast Holding has invested in excess of GHS60 million in the Dixcove Sea Defence project and is committed to ensuring a successful completion of this project in order to recover funds invested. This means no client will lose a penny of their investment with us’’, he said.

Other projects funded by Gold Coast in the Western Region apart from the Lower Dixcove Sea Defence include:

1. 6 units classroom block at Prestea SHS

2. 12 units classroom block at Tarkwa SHS

3. 12 units Dormitory Block at Akotombra SHS

4. 12 units classroom block at Half Asini SHS

5. Teachers Bungalow at Dadieso SHS

6. Bitumen surfacing of Prestea Town Roads (5km)

7. Takoradi - Kokompe Harbour Road

8. Prestea - Tarkwa road

9. Bitumen surfacing of Beposo Road (3km)

Gold Coast Holding was founded in 1993 and has been operational for the past 25 years. The company marked its 25 years of operations in August 2018 and has created real wealth for Ghanaians who have invested with the company.
