Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Saturday, 12 January 2019, hosted his secondary schoolmates, the 1980-Year Group of the Tamale Secondary School (TAMASCO) at his residence.

The old students gathered to share ideas on how to help their alma mater.

TAMASCO is a public senior high school established in 1951.

It is located in the newly-created Sagnarigu district and close to the Northern Regional Education office.

It was the first-ever second cycle institution in Northern Ghana.
