The main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will launch a new platform for the discussion of key national issues this February. The initiative, dubbed the ‘NDC Policy Dialogue Series’, will serve as a platform for providing policy alternatives and stating the NDC’s policy position on issues of politics, governance and development, the party said in a statement. During the recent National Delegates Congress of the party in Accra, a number of speakers touched on the party’s plan to launch a platform through which it will discuss key national issues with a view to soliciting the views of the public in preparing its 2020 manifesto. The maiden edition of the NDC Policy Dialogue Series, according to the statement signed by National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, will take place this month and will be opened by the National Chairman and leader of the party.
