Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Tuesday, 12 January 2019 addressed the opening ceremony of the 3rd German-Africa Summit in Accra with a call for enhanced cooperation between Ghana and Germany for a win-win partnership in terms of ideas, innovation and business development.

Dr Bawumia urged the delegation of businessmen and women from Germany to partner their Ghanaian counterparts to form relationships that would leverage Ghana’s stable democracy, macroeconomic stability and projected economic advancement to create opportunities for all.

He noted that the Akufo-Addo-led government is building an economy for the future, anchored on technology and enterprise, “and the data indicates that Ghana will be at the forefront of Africa’s new dawn.”

The three-day summit will focus on new opportunities and also learn from already existing experiences of German-African business relations.

The summit is also expected to offer German businesses the opportunity to explore investment avenues in Africa.
