Second Lady Samira Bawumia, on Monday, 11 February 2019, met the chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Book Aid International, Alison Tweed, to discuss the importance of encouraging reading, especially among children in Ghana.

The meeting took place at the London office of Book Aid International.

Mrs Bawumia further discussed how Book Aid International can support Ghana and Ghanaian children.

Book Aid is the leading international book donation and library development charity in the United Kingdom (UK), which provides books and supports libraries in Africa and around the world.
