Two suspects have been arrested by the Gomoa Ojobi District Police command in the Central Region for dousing a mobile money vendor with acid and robbing her.

Yaw Danso, 24; and Daniel Amoo, 21, bathed Kate Aidoo with the corrosive substance on 25 March 2019 during the heist around 11 p.m.

The victim suffered acid burns on her face and torso.

She is currently receiving treatment at the Korle But Teaching Hospital due to the severity of the acid burns.
