GRIDCo staff's March salary to delay

State power transmitter Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) has announced that the March 2019 salary of its workers would delay for a few days.

A circular with Number CE/10 /23/2019 signed by the Chief Executive of GRIDCo, Jonathan Amoako Baah and dated 27 March 2019 said the delay was due to ongoing reforms within the Power Distribution Services (PDS).

“It is announced for the information of all staff that due to the operationalisation of the Power Distribution Service (PDS), as part of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) reforms, we anticipate a few days of delay in the payment of the March 2019 salary. The inconvenience caused is regretted,” the circular said.
