Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has taken a swipe at the government’s detractors, indicating that those who are allergic to the facts are the ones who hurl insults at officialdom.

Dr Bawumia entreated critics of the government to prove whatever they say with credible data.

Speaking at an Economic Management Team (EMT) town hall meeting at the College of Physicians and Surgeons on Wednesday, 3 April 2019, Dr Bawumia said: “The data will speak for itself. If you disagree, you should bring your own data and your record... Don't disagree by saying the EMT members have big heads. You only resort to insults when you are allergic to facts."

In his opinion, the analyses of data and facts have vindicated the government of being better managers of the economy as compared to their predecessors.
