Former President John Mahama has gifted his party 20 vehicles.

The flag bearer of the biggest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) handed over the keys to the cars to the party’s national chairman Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo.

The cars are meant to beef up the party’s regional operations ahead of the 2020 general elections.

They include Nissan pickups and Renault Duster Saloon Cars which were gifted to Mahama by his benefactors during the party’s flag bearer polls.

At the handing over ceremony, Mr Mahama said he intends raising more logistics for the 2020 campaign.

Mr Ofosu-Ampofo, on behalf of the party, thanked Mr Mahama for the gesture and said the cars would be put to good use.
