A final-year student of the University of Ghana named Daniel Osei has been attacked by armed men along the road leading to Evandy hostel from Pentagon on the school’s campus.

The victim, who was butchered and sustained several cutlass wounds on his head, has been admitted to the 37 Military Hospital.

His assailants fled after the incident.

President of the Students Representative Council (SRC), Mr Sylvester Amoako has said the leadership of the students will visit the victim on Monday morning at the hospital to find out what transpired.

He also said student leadership will have a discussion with the school authorities to plan on how tighten security on all routes leading to campus.
