The meeting was held in Accra on Friday, 3 May 2019 on the theme: ‘Building a Network of Allies/Stakeholders for LGBTQ work in Ghana.’

The meeting sought to build the capacity of some human rights defenders and institutions, including the Ghana Police Service, the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), the Ghana Legal Aid, some NGOs and other CSOs, as well as religious and traditional leaders, together with media and health personnel on LGBTQ issues.
