Officers of the Kasoa divisional police command have gunned down two notorious armed robbers at Awutu Bosomabena today, Friday, 17 May 2019.

The suspects were killed as they attempted to rob a quarry stone company located at Awutu Bosomabena in the Awutu Senya West district of Central Region.

An eyewitness who spoke to Accra100.5FM’s Central regional correspondent, Opanyin Darko commended the police officers on duty for their swiftness and professionalism adding that the residents were now living in fear and called for maximum security.

The robbers exchanged fire with the police. They fired 16 rounds of bullets but missed their target and the police managed to gun down two out of the gang of eight.
