A female senior-year student of Yendi Senior High School (YESS) in the Northern regional capital, Tamale, has been captured on video flogging some of her fellow juniors mercilessly within the compound of the female dormitory, North Star FM has reported.

The very agitated senior student was captured in her flogging frenzy using what appeared to be a flexible cable as a whip on the bodies of the five juniors as they knelt down.

Some other female students watched aloof as the flogging went on while others went about their normal duties within the yard unperturbed and without any effort to intervene.

It is not yet clear what the junior students did that got their senior to mete out such punishment to them.

The video was first shared by North Star FM in the Northern Region.
