The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey has opened a new passport application centre for the Eastern Region in Koforidua on Wednesday, 22 May 2019.

At a brief ceremony to open the centre, Ms Botchwey indicated that the facility would help bring passport application processes closer to the people of the area without them having to go to the capital city, Accra, for such services.

She urged the public to desist from fraudulent acts that would undermine the good intention behind the establishment of the passport application centre.
