Presec disgraces Adisco, Owass to make NSMQ finals

The Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon) have qualified to the finals of this year’s National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) contest.

The Odadees beat competition from Adisadel College (Adisco) of Cape Coast and Opoku Ware Senior High School (OWASS) at the semifinals of the competition on Monday, 8 July 2019.

Presec took the lead from round 1 to the final round.

At the end of the contest, Presec bagged 48 points followed by Adisco who secured 34 points with Owass coming third with 31 points.

The Presecans walked away with a cash prize of GHS1,920. Adisco took home GHS1,360, while Owass walked away with GHS1,240.

The NSMQ is an annual science and mathematics quiz for senior high schools in Ghana.
