The acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr James Oppong Boanuh, has visited the families of the three missing girls in Takoradi in the Western Region.

Accompanied by other senior police officers, Mr Boanuh comforted the families and promised that the police were doing their best to resolve the matter.

The police recently retrieved some human skeletons from a cesspit at Kansaworodo, a suburb of Sekondi/Takoradi where the key suspect, Samuel Udoetuk-Willis, resides.

The police are conducting forensic examinations to determine the identities of the remains.

Priscilla Blessing Bentum, 21, a third-year student of the University of Education, Winneba, was kidnapped on 17 August 2018 at Kansaworodo, while Ruth Love Quayson, 18, a Fijai Senior High School leaver in Sekondi was kidnapped on 4 December 2018 at Butumegyabu junction in Takoradi, with Priscilla Mantebea Kuranchie, 15, a first-year student of Sekondi College, kidnapped on 21 December 2018 at a spot near Nkroful junction.
