ADB opens new branch at Ejisu

ADB PLC has inaugurated a new branch in Ejisu, located in the Ashanti Region.

This expansion aligns with ADB's strategy to enhance accessibility by leveraging both digital platforms and physical branches to better serve its valued customers and the general public.

The new branch, which began operations on Monday, July 1, 2024, is situated next to the Ejisu Divisional Police Office, with a GPS address of AE-0000-9653.

In addition to this new branch, the bank continues to operate from its renovated old location, now known as the Ejisu Market Agency, to complement its digital services and new branch.

This expansion increases ADB's total network to 89 locations, comprising 83 branches and 6 agencies.

The new branch will offer comprehensive banking services, including Commercial & SME Banking, Trade Financing, Corporate Banking, Retail & Consumer Banking, Electronic Banking, Asset Financing, Parastatals & Institutional Banking, remittance, collections, and more.

The branch opening is part of ADB’s broader expansion strategy, responding to the demands of customers and stakeholders in Ejisu and surrounding areas for extended services.

In his remarks, Alhaji Alhassan Yakubu-Tali, Managing Director of ADB, highlighted that the new branch reflects the bank’s commitment to expanding its footprint nationwide, thus bringing banking services closer to its customers and the public.

"Over the past few years, ADB PLC has pursued an ambitious growth strategy focused on improving service delivery, embracing innovative technologies and digital services, and expanding our physical branch network to make banking more accessible," he stated.

"The new branch enables us to extend our services further within Ejisu, meeting the diverse banking needs of our customers," he added.

Alhaji Yakubu-Tali encouraged existing and potential customers to visit or contact the new branch or the agency for their banking needs.

The Acting General Manager of Retail Banking, Mr. Frank Okyere-Adarkwa, expressed excitement about the new branch and agency in Ejisu.

He emphasized that the new branch strengthens ADB's retail vision of making banking accessible to a broader customer base.
