AngloGold Ashanti appoints interim secretary

AngloGold Ahsanti has notified its shareholders that it has appointed an interim company secretary pursuant to its announcement dated 27 March 2020 that the current secretary, Ms Maria Sanz Perez, has given six months’ notice of her intention to resign, effective 26 March 2020.
Ms Sanz Perez’s departure date will be 30 June 2020.
Ms Lizelle Marwick, Executive Vice-President, General Counsel and Compliance, has, thus, been appointed as interim Company Secretary effective 1 July 2020 while the Company continues to search for a suitable replacement.
Shareholders will be kept informed in this regard. Johannesburg 30 June 2020
