ECG assures stable power supply for Easter festivities in Kwahu

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has assured residents and visitors of Kwahu of a stable and uninterrupted power supply during the upcoming Easter celebrations.
According to the Mpraeso District Manager, Engineer Mark Wilson, ECG has taken proactive measures to guarantee reliable electricity throughout the festivities.
He said the company has conducted thorough maintenance on its infrastructure and is working closely with power generation and transmission partners to ensure sufficient supply during the high-demand period.
“As part of our preparations, we’ve undertaken routine checks and preventive maintenance to avoid outages and ensure a smooth experience for all celebrating Easter in Kwahu,” Engineer Wilson stated.
He also appealed to customers to settle any outstanding electricity bills promptly to avoid service interruptions during the festive season.
“Timely payment of bills not only helps avoid disconnections but also contributes to our ability to maintain a consistent and reliable power supply,” he added.
The assurance from ECG forms part of broader efforts to support a joyful, safe, and well-powered Easter celebration in the Kwahu area, which annually attracts large crowds for one of Ghana's most vibrant festivals.
