AGA, in a statement, said it continues to monitor the situation in Guinea and remains in close contact with the leadership of the mine, which lies around 850km northeast of the country’s capital, Conakry.
The safety of employees remains a priority, AGA said.
Siguiri Gold Mine produced 117,000oz at an All in Sustaining Cost (AISC) of $1,225/oz for the six months ended 30 June 2021.
