MultiChoice adds Cartoon Network, TNT to GOtv
Warner Media Africa, a channel provider of blockbuster movies and family entertainment for African fans, is expanding its entertainment offering.
The channel provider has announced that it will be introducing Cartoon Network and TNT on MultiChoice’s pay-TV platform, GOtv.
From Tuesday, 12 November 2019, GOtv’s subscribers in Ghana will enjoy a line-up of Hollywood blockbusters for the family, as well as iconic children’s entertainment.
TNT and Cartoon Network already have a proven and successful record across Africa.
Cartoon Network, popular for titles such as Ben 10, Teen Titans Go! and The Amazing World of Gumball, aims to add a premium-viewing experience to GOtv.
TNT will provide GOtv with legendary heroes and American blockbusters in November and December.
Viewers will celebrate the holidays with movies such as Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice, Jumanji and Spy Kids.
Commenting on the new developments, Warner Media’s VP of commercial and head of business development of Africa and France, Guillaume Coffin said that Warner Media is thrilled to bring TNT and Cartoon Network to a broader African audience and to extend its partnership with MultiChoice through this new deal with GOtv.
Yolisa Phahle, the CEO of General Entertainment at MultiChoice says that it’s always a win for MultiChoice to be able to deliver top entertainment to more customers. She added that this new partnership would provide more choice and value to GOtv subscribers.
GOtv is a digital terrestrial transmission (DTT) pay television service from MultiChoice Africa and brings a digital television revolution into the homes of millions of viewers in Africa.
