More 700 individuals with interest in the global financial market participated in the inaugural World Forex Summit in Ghana organised by the Forex Trading Academy in Ghana.

The programme organised over the weekend had renowned forex entrepreneurs embarking on presentations that cover concepts on online forex and some strategies that can be adopted by participants to take advantage of trading in foreign exchange markets which is reported by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) to have averaged $6.6 trillion per day in April 2019.

Main speaker for the event, Sandile Shezi, South Africa’s youngest online forex millionaire, guided participants through the red flags of trading as well as the methods he adopted that has ensured his success as a millionaire at age 23 and multimillionaire at his current age of 28.

Participants of the paid session were also given practical hands-on training on the proper and effective way to use the harmonic pattern, a tool used to identify and execute trades to make profits from the online forex markets. The forex guru also provided guidelines on practices and habits that have ensured his meteoric rise in the forex market in the last decade.

Key among the topics discussed were risk management, identification of scams, the importance of consistency, discipline and drawing plans to guide every trader.

The attendees will be given a one-month free subscription service to forex trading signals provided by Rivoltare, a financial markets company founded by Mr Shezi, which is based in South Africa.

Mr Shezi also advised trader to ensure that they get “the right mentor”.

“You find somebody who knows what they do and not just knowing what they do but has got the necessary experience who will guide you step by step,” he added.

He emphasised the introduction of right policies to protect traders in Africa which he said he was ready to help governments of countries on the continent.

“We need to look at a different perspective on how to regulate and protect citizens of the country to ensure that they are not victims of scams and I will really love to be one of those people championing those discussions and ensure that we build a regulation around the industry,” he noted. 

He was optimistic about a boom in the industry and several millionaires in Ghana in the next few years.

“Even in Ghana in the next coming years we are going to see quite a number of successful traders coming out of Ghana so long as we keep growing the industry it will only get better,” he concluded.

On his part, Forex Analyst and Director at the Forex Training Academy, Lennis Glover, encouraged the public to seen knowledge in the sector for gains due to the rapid growth in the world financial market.

“Young ones of today should start looking at opportunities in the global financial market. Apart from trading themselves, there are a lot of careers that they can pursue” to meet the rapid changes that are ongoing in the world financial market.

Mr Glover, an author of two online forex trading books – Forex Trading: Investment in the foreign exchange market and Technical & Fundamental Analysis: How to profit in the global financial market – noted that individuals with the requisite knowledge, skill set and experience in forex could be analysts, floor traders, researchers, risk management officials, among others and the Forex Academy provides the best tuition to serve as springboard to launch individuals into such career paths.

“International banks are trading and they are getting resource persons from outside and it is not helping us instead of Ghanaians to be employed they are bringing foreigners into the system,” the Master Trainer said Mentor at the Forex Academy, stressed.
