President Mahama reaffirms support for private sector growth ahead of Ghana CEO Summit
President John Dramani Mahama has assured business leaders of his administration’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for investment and economic growth.
The assurance was given when a delegation of chief executives and industry leaders paid a courtesy call on the President at the Presidency to invite him as Guest of Honour at the upcoming Ghana CEO Summit 2026, scheduled for May 28, 2026.
President Mahama noted the vital role of the private sector in driving economic development, stating that government is ready to work closely with businesses to expand opportunities for job creation and shared prosperity.
He noted that rebuilding and transforming Ghana’s economy will require strong collaboration between the public and private sectors, adding that such partnerships are key to achieving sustainable growth.
The Ghana CEO Summit is expected to bring together top executives, policymakers, and thought leaders to discuss strategies for advancing business and economic development in the country.
