Randy Abbey meets COCOBOD staff
The staff of the Ghana Cocoa Board(COCOBOD) has met with the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Ransford Anertey Abbey to ensure significant leadership change aimed at driving growth, sustainability, and innovation in the country's cocoa sector.
Dr. Abbey, a seasoned leader and corporate strategist, brings extensive expertise in corporate governance, management consultancy, and strategic communications.
His impressive career includes serving as the Managing Director of Ignite Media Group and holding key leadership roles in various organizations.
Under his leadership, the Ghana Cocoa Board is expected to implement forward-thinking policies to enhance the livelihoods of cocoa farmers and strengthen Ghana’s global cocoa market position.
The board expressed confidence in Dr. Abbey’s vision to transform the sector, ensuring greater prosperity for stakeholders across the cocoa value chain.
