Sammy Gyamfi takes office as Acting MD of PMMC

Sammy Gyamfi has officially assumed office as the Acting Managing Director of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC), marking the beginning of a new leadership era for the State-Owned Enterprise.
He commenced his role on Monday, January 20, 2025, at the company’s headquarters, where he received a warm welcome from the management and staff.
In his inaugural address, Gyamfi expressed gratitude to President John Mahama for entrusting him with the role and pledged to lead with integrity, innovation, and a renewed focus on growth and efficiency.
He reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing PMMC’s operations, fostering transparency in the precious minerals trade, and strengthening partnerships with stakeholders to boost the company’s contribution to the national economy.
His tenure is expected to usher in strategic reforms aimed at positioning PMMC as a key player in Ghana’s minerals sector.
