CMG nominated for Communication Awards

The Class Media Group (CMG), which operates Class91.3FM (Accra), Accra100.5FM (Accra), No.1FM105.3 (Accra), Kumasi104.1FM (Kumasi), Ho92.5FM (Ho), Adehye99.1FM (Kumasi), CTV (Accra), ClassFMonline.com and AccraFM.com, has been nominated for the maiden National Communication Awards 2019.

“You have been nominated for the Most Eminent Media Brand of the Year Category,” a statement issued by the organiser RADComm, said.

The National Communication Awards is a development communication awards programme developed by RAD Communication Limited in partnership with Ecobank Ghana and the Ghana Chamber of Communication Professionals, to champion communication, organisational and national development.

The event will celebrate and reward excellent communication companies, teams and individuals across Ghana.

The National Communication Awards promises to serve as a springboard for those who aspire to higher heights with their works, efforts and contribution in the media and communication industry in Africa and Ghana in particular.

And also aims to serve as a national platform for recognising the great works and impact of communication practitioners in Ghana.

Just recently, CMG was also nominated as the Media Group of the Year 2018-2019 in this year’s Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards.

The founder of CMG, Mr Seidu Agongo, as well as programmes and on-air personalities of Accra100.5FM, No.1 105.3 FM's and Class91.3FM are among the nominees for this year's awards.

Mr Agongo was nominated in the RTP Honoraries of the Year 2019 category.

Also, the host of Class91.3FM’s Executive Breakfast Show (EBS), Benjamin Akakpo, has been nominated for the Best Radio Personality, Greater Accra Region category while Accra100.5FM’s mid-morning show Ayeeko Ayeeko, hosted by Nana Romeo, has been nominated for Radio Mid-morning Show Host of the Year award.

Additionally, Accra100.5FM’s Naa Atwee Oduro has been nominated for the Development Show Host of the Year award while the station’s news programme Accra Kasiebo has been nominated for an award in the Radio News Programme of the Year category.
