Ghanaian movie star Fred Amugi has had his wish for a brand ambassadorial deal fulfilled.

He shared the news on his Instagram today Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

"Thank you, @cavemanwatches," he said revealing that Caveman, founded by Anthony Dzamefe, is the first establishment to engage him as a brand ambassador.

The celebrated actor also thanked "@naa.adjeley.shuga [Naa Adjeley Shuga]," perhaps for facilitating the opportunity.

He showed optimism that this is just the beginning of greater deals: "It is gradually happening."

Before his 74th birthday, which was on Saturday, 5 November 2022, Mr Amugi made a heartfelt appeal to the corporate world asking to be used as a brand ambassador while he is yet alive.

This was his birthday wish, he explained.

What “I’d want to have for my 74th birthday, is to see myself on billboards as a brand ambassador.

“I wouldn’t want to die before I’m mounted on billboards when I wouldn’t see what corporate Ghana did for me.

“So corporate Ghana, here I am, I am prepared to be a brand ambassador for your product. Use me while I am alive, not when I am dead and gone. Thank you,” he pensively appealed.

Fred Amugi is a cast member for Director Pascal Aka's latest 'Gold Coast Lounge'.
