Ceccy Twum draws the Line: “No condom brand sponsorship for me”
Ghanaian gospel sensation Ceccy Twum has made waves after declaring that she will never accept a sponsorship from a condom brand.
In an interview on Okay FM, the gospel artist said her ministry’s message and her personal convictions simply don’t align with endorsing such products.
“Normally, I can’t do an advert for a condom brand,” Ceccy Twum explained, emphasising that her ministry preaches abstinence.
She continued, “Me … in an advert telling you to buy condoms … what are you going to use them for?”
Adding spiritual weight to her decision, she stated that agreeing to such a deal would “indirectly be promoting casual sex among the youth” — a notion she strongly opposes as a public figure with a gospel platform.
Her bold stance has sparked discussions online, with many applauding her for sticking to her principles and others questioning whether influencers should shy away from certain brand partnerships.
Regardless of the reactions, Ceccy Twum remains firm: not every brand deal is worth taking if it conflicts with her core values.
