Comic Baba Spirit dead after 'spiritual' and health battles
Popular Ghanaian comic Baba Spirit, has died.
The news of his demise broke yesterday Thursday, 8 September, 2022.
It is unknown the cause of his death but reports say about two years ago, he got seriously sick and was bedridden for about a year.
He, however, recovered and even announced his comeback to the comedy scene in July this year.
Following his demise, videos of interviews he had granted to Power FM and Bryt TV have gone viral.
In the Power FM footage, he narrated instances of seeing apparitions during which he was stabbed in the heart.
In the Bryt TV interview, Baba Spirit detailed attempts by unnamed industry fellows to kill him by use of sickness through black magic.
He confirmed rumours that creative industry people are fond of seeking black magic against each other.
He added during his spiritual and health ordeal which prompted his absence from the comic scene, his “entire body couldn’t stand up.”
Baba Spirit hosted comedy shows on Rainbow Radio, Adom TV, Angel TV, among others.
In 2018, he got much public attention after staging a boxing bout with professional boxer Ayitey Powers.
