Court orders arrest of Afia Schwarzenegger’s ex-hubby
An Accra Circuit Court has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Lawrence Abrokwa, the ex-husband of Afia Schwarzenegger for failing to appear before it on 23 March 2020.
His absence caused the trial judge to adjourn the case to Monday, 24 March 2020.
He is facing two counts of domestic violence, emotional, psychological and verbal abuse, causing unlawful damage, the publication of obscene material and carrying an offensive weapon.
Mr Abrokwa's lawyer informed the court on Monday that all efforts to reach his client had failed.
The court then issued a warrant for his arrest.
The case was adjourned to 1 April.
