'Everyone's fine': Kofi Kinaata assures, provides details after 'head on collision with motorcycle'
Singer and rapper Kofi Kinaata has assured his fans he is "in good health" after reports surfaced on the internet that he had been involved in a terrible accident.
"On our way to an event in the Western Region, our car had a head on collision with a motorcycle at Aboadze, leading to an incident. Thank you all for your concern. I’m in good health and sound mind," he wrote on Facebook.
In a subsequent video, he revealed more details and debunked reports his driver died.
"Azey, everyone is fine. Thank you all for your concern. From the background you can tell I am at Maaha. I have a show tonight," a healthy-looking Kinaata said in the video.
"A motorcycle with two people on it crossed the car that came for us for a programme at Nkroful. The driver knocked the motorcycle.
"We are fine but our concern now is for the motor riders. We'll follow up and keep you updated. We are praying the riders will be okay. I'm at Maaha right now," he added.
Disclosing he was in a Land Cruiser SUV, the Highlife star categorically said: "No driver is, also, dead. The report that the driver died on the spot is false."
"The motorcycle's passengers are in critical condition given they were knocked and had no helmet on. I'll be on Facebook live tonight and I'll perform in Nkroful," he concluded.
