FRA!'s +233 Jazz Bar & Grill debut left patrons stunned

The rains did not stop FRA!'s debut performance at the iconic +233 Jazz Bar & Grill, North Ridge, on Saturday, August 26, 2023.
The rains did not keep the fans of Ghana's Highlife/Funk star band away. Unpertubed, they trooped in and filled the mainly open air venue to an overflow - much to the astonishment of the venue's management.
What is more, the Delicious Tunes signee did not compromise its timekeeping tradition. As earlier indicated, the charity concert started at exactly 8 PM, with fans seated in calm but meaningful anticipation for the night's promised vibes.
Gracing the occasion but without pomp and pageantry, so that the attention on FRA! remained intact, were notables like ace journalist Kwesi Pratt Jr, Highlife/Jazz legend Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, star Griot Atongo Zimba, and PR for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) Robert Klah, among others.

After MC Prince Benjamin (PB) welcomed the eager audience, singer-songwriter and guitarist Nene Narh cooed away, covering some delectable pop classics including Elvis' Can't Help Falling In Love.

By the time Adasamma (People of All Nations) left the stage, the audience was adequately stirred from a contemplative posture towards dancing. They were ready for the host band FRA!

When the You the Feel the Vibe hitmaker, FRA!, mounted the stage, the crowd was elated, and when they confirmed their presence with a song, the audience went hysterical. Everyone rose to welcome them and acknowledge their arresting talent and stage presence.
For three hours, George (bassist), Selorm (guitarist), Martin (keyboardist), Ishmael (percussionist), Joshua (drummer) and Christian (frontman) gave new audience members an unforgettable night and reaffirmed their talent to their stalwarts.
Joining them on stage was their former label mate Adomaa, star singer and actress, and Morgan Malcom.

The attending crowd was a living, breathing representation of the band's name; FRA! (one out of a diverse bunch).

According to FRA!, this weekend, Saturday, September 2, as promised, it will be making a donation to the Hope of Assurance orphanage home, Teshie-Nungua, enabled by the proceeds from the charity concert.
All are cordially invited and still the portal is open for donations from food to clothing and everything in between.
