Fashion: Kuami Eugene’s ‘the most-improved’ – Charlie Dior admits to prior harsh criticism, compliments singer
Fashion critic and content creator Charlie Dior has bemoaned Highlife star and record producer Kuami Eugene unfollowing him on social media because of an old video in which he subjected Eugene to his usual comical yet scathing criticism.
“I admit I was very, very hard on Kuami Eugene. Eii. This is a man – I compared his suit to a couch. I was very hard on him. And usually, when I’m hard on someone, it’s because I like them. I’m a big of Kuami Eugene’s.
“But I think for Kuami, I’ll give him the most-improved [accolade]. He was terrible at fashion initially but he’s finding himself and I think he is the most-improved,” the fashion critic remarked.
Charlie Dior noted Kuami Eugene once said at the beginning of his career, he did not want to overspend on fashion, an approach that informed his dressing.
“It does cost money,” he footnoted, apparently offering Eugene’s reasoning some support. “People invest a lot of money to look good.
“Kuami Eugene said he wanted to take care of his family and was not investing a lot of money in his looks. But now that he’s gotten things together – I’ve met him personally before – he’s finding his style, and swag.”
Charlie Dior emphasised, “He’s definitely the most-improved and he’s very young so as time goes on, he’ll find it.”
